Texas Gulf Bank was a proud sponsor of the 76th annual Fishin’ Fiesta event that took place June 29- July 2 at Freeport Municipal Park in Freeport, Texas. We sponsored the Kids’ Que Cook-off, which produced some amazing entries. What a weekend to lead into the 4th of July!
Texas Gulf Bank participated with Brazosport LULAC 4655 in partnership with Brazosport Cares food pantry in Freeport’s food distribution events January through May 2023. Texas Gulf Bank employees had food donation boxes at our Brazosport, Clute, Lake Jackson and Angleton locations to collect food items. Through the LULAC program we have distributed over 180 food boxes to families in need in Brazoria County.

In late March, Texas Gulf Bank supported the Dawson Football Booster Club as a corporate sponsor of their annual spring golf tournament and participated with a team.
Our April 15th Shred Day was a huge success! Employees helped 200 cars come through to drop off papers and documents for shredding, and we were able to fill 50 large bins!

Recommendations regarding exercise, diet and learning new things to enhance brain health are also available.
We were proud to support one of our lenders, Irene Ocañas, who is on the Executive Committee and serves as the council’s treasurer. The organization is making a big difference in the Brazoria County community.
Proceeds from the BISD Education Foundation Throwback Prom benefited local schools in Brazosport ISD.

Texas Gulf Bank sponsored a team and hosted a tent at the Fairway Charity Golf Tournament at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston on October 31st.
Proceeds from the event supported those battling breast cancer, as well as Breast Cancer Awareness.

We sponsored a team and a hole during the Houston Area Government Guaranteed Lenders (HAGGL) annual golf tournament on Tuesday, October 18th at the Black Horse Golf Club in Cypress, Texas.
Net proceeds from the tournament benefited charitable organizations such as K9s for Warriors, a group that provides trained service dogs to veterans to help with post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury and other trauma.

Texas Gulf Bank partnered with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center to host 2 blood drives this summer at the Clute location on Dixie Drive.
Our Friendswood banking center recently held a Backpack and School Supply Drive for local schools in Southeast Houston. We collected several backpacks and over 15 bags of school supplies to help students!
