Banking is second nature to Mia Hinojosa Miralles, our Vice President of Commercial Lending. Mia has been actively involved in the banking industry for 25+ years, dating back to high school in Houston.
Mia is passionate about supporting local businesses in our area by offering loan products that are tailored to their needs. Mia joined Texas Gulf Bank in May 2016 because she appreciated the community bank environment that we promote. We are an independent bank that operates in the Greater Houston area with customers all across the Texas Gulf Coast. Our focus on serving local customers fits Mia perfectly.
Mia has lived in Southwest Houston her entire life. She attended public school throughout her educational career, including participating in a Co-Op program at Bellaire High School. During the program, she first started working in banking and has continued to work within the industry, never looking back.
Mia continued her education at Houston Community College (HCC), where she graduated with an Associates Degree. She also obtained a Business degree from the University of Houston-Downtown (UHD) with a concentration in Finance.
Mia has translated her educational pursuits and love for the community into outstanding service for businesses, schools, non-profit organizations, and consumers throughout the region.
