Kyle offices out of our Friendswood branch location that serves customers throughout Harris County and Galveston County. Because Kyle grew up in Friendswood, he is familiar with the landscape of the region and is passionate about helping clients access the right banking products and services for their needs.

Kyle Ranostaj: Why Relationships Matter

Kyle joined Texas Gulf Bank in November 2021 after gaining valuable banking experience that set him up for success.

Kyle’s path to our bank started in college when he graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Banking & Financial Institutions. While in college, he completed an internship where he worked as a bank examiner with the Texas Department of Banking.

After graduating, Kyle started with Frost Bank as a credit analyst, where he gained additional experience in underwriting and and every aspect of loan and deposit processes. While at Frost, Kyle worked with Reid Wendell, who is now our Southeast Regional President. When Reid joined our bank, he brought Kyle with him to be part of a growing team of lenders.

“I did a lot of work with Reid as an analyst,” says Kyle. “He knew I was getting ready to become a lender, and that I also grew up in Friendswood where we office now, so it led to a good opportunity to join Reid’s team in Friendswood.”

Clearly, relationships matter in banking. It matters for our lenders, and it certainly matters in how we serve our customers. Now that Kyle has settled into his role at Texas Gulf Bank, he is focused on growing his current client relationships and generating new relationships.

At the Friendswood office, Kyle regularly meets with current customers and potential clients. He’ll also step out of the office to visit with business owners at their office, job site, and networking events to learn more about how Texas Gulf Bank can help customers grow.

At the Friendswood office, Kyle works with many business owners that need products and services to support their business. Once business owners realize the benefits of working with a community-based bank, they often move their personal banking over to our bank as well.

Conversely, our personal banking customers will tap into our business banking products to help grow their company. They often use our Treasury Management services to help run the business more efficiently and access our Wealth Management services* to help manage and grow their wealth.

Serves as a liaison to our Treasury Management department to help businesses collect revenue and/or make payments.

Once customers are set up with Online and Mobile Business Banking or Online and Mobile Banking for personal accounts, they can manage their accounts, deposit checks, and monitor account status while on the go.
