Today, we are spotlighting one of our loan officers, Drew Lindsey. He grew up in the Brazosport area. Out of college, he worked for a local bank. He then joined Texas Gulf Bank in August 2011, around the time his family started growing. His connections to our local bankers in Lake Jackson and our CEO, Jimmy Brown, proved to be valuable.
“I was familiar with Texas Gulf Bank and knew that the bank was growing,” says Drew. “The bank was more aggressive and it offered a wider variety of products and services than my previous bank. Knowing the leadership group made the decision to switch easier.”

Get to Know Drew Lindsey More
We’d like to share more about Drew so that you can know him on a personal level. Drew is a local product of Brazoswood High School. It was through his high school baseball booster club that he received a small scholarship that helped support his education. Collegiately, he attended Texas State as a Finance major. During his time in San Marcos, he enjoyed the banking courses that prepared him to enter the banking industry. He furthered his education by attending the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University, where he graduated with a Recognition of Leadership.
When he’s not supporting our customers at Texas Gulf Bank, Drew is civically active. He is currently president of the BISD Education Foundation. He enjoys spending time with his wife and children, coaching his son’s baseball team, camping, hunting and fishing. Drew has three children, including identical twin girls.
